Dhaka, Feb 16 (UNB) – Scholastica School and Green Herald International School emerged as group champions in the 19th National School Cricket Tournament beating their respective rivals here today (Friday).

Scholastica defeated Saurav Smriti School by five wickets in the group-V final at the Uttara Police Line ground.

Decided to bat first, Saurav Smriti School scored 95 runs for all in 21.3 overs. In reply Scholastica made 100 runs for five wickets in 17 overs.

In a group-U final at the PIG, Green Herald International beat National Bangla High School by two wickets.

National Bangla High School scored a respectable 197-run for 9 wickets in the stipulated 35 overs after deciding to bat first. In reply, Green Herald reached the winning target making 199 runs for 8 wickets in 29.5 overs.
